I make sure that I always update my list. For some reason, some people think that online teaching jobs are one of the hardest jobs to apply for because of the requirements each company has.

For me, I believe that applicants are having a hard time because they are applying for the wrong companies. Or companies that are just not compatible with the applicants.

To avoid wasting your time sending CV’s to those that will just ignore your application. I categorized each of the best paying online teaching jobs so that it will be a lot easier for you guys to check the one that suits you.

Bling ABC-

Is one on three methods. This is by far the highest on this list . Pays up to $27 an hour. The company provides all the teaching materials.

Accepts degree holders and require TEFL or TESOL Certificates with a year of teaching experience. You need to make an account on their website to start the application.

Magic Ears

Magic ears are one of the many best paying online teaching companies nowadays. Pays starts at $19 to up to 26 per hour. Students are from China.

There are no required minimum hours of teaching per week. But you must be a native English speaker to get accepted.

The company provides a pleasant environment that allows teachers to grow with the company. You can read more about this company in my previous post with Magic Ears.

DADA

DADA is one of the best paying on this list. Salary increases based on the teacher’s performance. The company has a system that helps teachers get higher pay if they do their job well.

Which I think is its advantage over the other online schools. Pays up to $25/ hour. While most schools have both one on one and group classes.

DADA only caters to one on one students. They have a minimum of 10 hours of teaching monthly.

VIP Kid

This company is one of the most popular ones on this list. Being an English teacher is one of the best remote online teaching jobs for the past years.

It may not be for everyone but a lot are still enjoying this career. Especially for those who have been with VIP kid for quite a long time. Pays from $14 to $22 an hour.

Teaching Materials are provided for all the teachers. Must be a US or Canadian Citizen to apply. Or has a work visa or green card.

Two Sigmas

This company looks for applicants with a neutral accent. English spoken in an idiomatic level. If you are enthusiastic and a very energetic person.

You have a good chance with them. They hire teachers that encourage student interaction. Students are from around the globe. Pay starts at $18 to $25 an hour.

Accepts non-degree holders and or college students

HAWO ( Formerly 51 Talk)

Although the company requires a BA Degree HAWO Still accepts students who are currently enrolled as an education major in university. I worked here for about 2 years and I think it’s fun. You can check my review here.

The company requires experience in teaching or tutoring and pays up to $22/hour. What I also like about working with them is they provide all the lessons you need.

So you’ll just log in and you’re good to go. But as a tutor, I make sure that I log in 30 minutes before the start of class. It gives me enough time to prepare for lessons or unexpected technical problems. They accept native and non-native speakers with a neutral accent.

Engoo

This company doesn’t require any degree and teaching experience. As well as accepts natives and non-natives speaker as long as you are English proficient. Pay starts at $10/hour.

Even though I haven’t tried working with this company. I really think you’d enjoy teaching here. Why? Because most students are from Taiwan and Japan.

Based on my experience, These are two of the nicest people on the planet. But you also need to take note how punctual they are. You do want to build a good rapport with them.

ITalki

I’ve always wanted to try this company but since I fell in love with blogging I wasn’t able to pursue that. This company has been on my every list since day one.

Simply because they give chances to all types of educators. If you have no experience nor degree you can apply as a community tutor. If you have a degree then you can apply as a professional teacher.

This requires teaching experience and a university degree. You can set your own rates with Italki. Italki teachers can get paid up to $25/hr or depending on the rates you like of course. And they are open worldwide.

Skima Talk

Another company that is open for applicants worldwide and doesn’t require a degree is Skima Talk. And they also not require any teaching experience.

Skima Talk may not be the Highest paying on this list but it’s worth a try to those who wanted to start a career with online teaching. Pay starts $8 per 25 minutes so it’s like $16/hour or you can set your own rate. -%20.

Accepts native speakers only. The company encourages teachers to use their own teaching materials and their own way of teaching. So if you want to apply you have to make sure to prepare some teaching materials.

Cambly

Cambly has been very popular for many reasons. One, they accepts native and non-native speakers. Two, they accepts applicants with no teaching experience.

Lastly, although a degree is preferred it’s not required. Cambly may not the be strickest with requirements

This company prefers degree holder applicants but at the same time accepts college level students.

So if you’re still studying and want to have a part time job. You may want to check this out.

Open English

Open English caters to Latin America students. So If you can speak Spanish or Portuguese This is you’re chance as they prefer Bilingual teachers. Just like some of the schools on this list.

They do prefer those with degree holders but it’s not required. Plus they accept applicants who are currently enrolled in college. Pays up to $15/hour.

The company also provides the materials you need so definitely a plus. If you have no degree you must have at least a year of experience and TEFL certification.

App-based online teaching schools

Tutoring Lab

This company also requires a degree holder but at the same time accepts those who are currently enrolled in collegee .

Tutoring lab is an app-based company so if you want a convenient way to teach this is a good place to start.

The company does require a two year teaching experience aand pays starts at $11/ hour.

Palfish

Another app-based company that I love is Palfish. I used to work there for more than a year. This app is just super fun to use. At the same time, I made a lot of new friends. I’m pretty sure you’ll sure to enjoy this too.

You can work at your own convenient time. They also don’t require you to have a degree. Although they recommend that applicants have certificates,

They prefer those with teaching experience but it’s not a requirement. You can set your own rate. but it’s around $10-$18 an hour. U recommend this school because If I didn’t get pregnant I would’ve been still enjoying their platform. You can check more about them in my Palfish Review

Boxfish

Boxfish is another app-based school that you can add to your list. They require a degree, certificate, and experience for the applicants.

Pay is $11/25 minutes of class so it’s about $22 an hour. You’ll be teaching mostly K-12 Students. All lessons and materials are provided so it’s indeed convenient.

They have no minimum hours of teaching requirement you can teach as much or as little as you want.
