I’m no expert, but somehow I get to wear what I feel is comfortable and still look good at the same time. My husband who’s been in the rock era all his life went through a 360 upgrade through the years. And he’s never been so happy. It’s funny when you look at your pictures from the past, and you can’t believe you’ve had those pair of shoes. How awful your shoes or how bad you’ll look if you’ll have the guts to wear them now. As we grow older our sense of style change. But we all have that one friend or relative, or husband that just can’t move on. And they just love those shoes, that they kept buying the same kind/brand over and over again. And because we love them we want the best for them.

So I’m here to help you with that. Having a stylist brother and friends that work in the fashion industry, has some advantages. There’s a wide range of different kinds of shoes that you could acquire. And it’s so easy to get lost. You don’t need to get them all So, here’s a list that I came up with that I based on how shoes evolved and developed through the years and of course with a little help from my little bro.

1. Brogues-

Every man should have this pair. Works well with any formal clothes. But did you know that this was once inappropriate for formal occasions? This was once an outdoor shoe way back many years ago. The holes were there to help drain water after walking in muddy places. Every time I see a good pair of these I can’t help but ask my husband to try it on.

2. White Canvas-

In a wife’s point of view, this pair makes a man look so neat yet so handsome. If you are in a casual mood, Match this with nice jeans or pair of khakis and coats. And you’re good to go. So fresh and so clean, clean.

3. Loafers-

Here’s a smart casual shoe that your feet will thank you. Lace free shoes that work well with formal and informal clothes. Perfect daily shoes especially in a tropical country like ours. Apron, Penny or Tassel you’ll soon find yourself liking at least one of them.

4. Trainers-

I don’t know any guy who doesn’t have even one pair of trainers. This is one of the most purchased/popular shoes of 2016 based on Business Insider. Simply because of functionality and comfort. I just have a little tip. Don’t go overboard. Everyone will tell you to go for function rather than fashion. But if you can have both why not right?

5. Leather Sneakers-

The comfort of sneakers and the classic feel of a leather. Having these two together is already so worth it. Leather has been always elegant and classic. A sneaker that gets better with age. Works well in both formal and casual.

Men shouldn’t have just two pairs of shoes. It’s not wrong having comfortable shoes and looking good at the same time. We all love our men, our brothers, sons, and husbands. And we care about how they look. Especially their shoes. Seeing them wearing handsome shoes that they actually love is an achievement.
