For the past 2 years, I’ve been writing about how great online teaching jobs are. And how it’s a good choice to work from home. Still, this may not be for everyone. But, it can be if you’ll give it a try.
I’ve been receiving emails about how some online schools changed their requirements and process when it comes to hiring new teachers.
Some schools used to hire inexperienced and non-degree holders. But now they don’t. So I had to scour the internet again for old and new schools that still accept non-degree holders.
While some of these schools may ask for teaching certificates, they don’t necessarily require a degree which is pretty good for non-degree holders. I have to remove a few companies that in my opinion would just be a waste of your time.
Also, some of the schools may have a low starting rate. Remember, if you have no degree and inexperienced, you have to gain that experience before you could apply to other schools and get those certificates. Then you can turn this side hustle into a full-time career.
Skima Talk–
Skima talk is one good place to start teaching. If you are a native English speaker without a degree, you can teach anywhere you want anytime you want. If you are a non-native this place may not be for you.
You set your own hours of teaching. If you have reliable internet, passion, and commitment. You may want to give Skima a try.

Amazing Talker-
Just like Verbal planet, Amazing talker lets you teach any language you want. Although certification is not necessary. It won’t hurt if you have one.
If you are not a native English speaker but want to work in Amazing talker. Your accent must be close to native. Or native-like. But if you want to teach your native language, much better.
Although they mention that you must have an English related degree to get hired. You can still apply even if you don’t have one as long as you have teaching experience. A good online teaching job opportunity.
And another great thing about them is their payment transfers. They send payments with Paypal, Payoneer, and Transferwise. So you have more options for receiving your payments.
Class gap
Class gap mentions you can earn as much as $1200 a month teaching your favorite subjects. Thus, making it clear that you can teach any subject on this platform and not only languages.
You can teach anywhere you like and with flexible hours. No obligations. they won’t require you to teach at least a few hours per day or per week. It’s all up to you. How cool is that?

It is another awesome platform that gives tutors the flexibility and convenience to both teachers and students. You can teach using your mobile phone or tablet.
Tuex has an app that makes it so much better to teach anywhere you want. Plus they don’t require any degree. They also have free teaching materials for online teaching jobs that can be used. Very convenient.
KK Talkee
This China-based company not only promises flexible teaching hours but also prompt payment each month. Wherein you can receive your payment through bank transfers and Paypal.
And just like amazing talker, they accept non-native speakers as long as your English is also advance or native-like.
Eigox-
Eigox is a Japan-based company which is another placed to start for both natives and non-natives the pay may not be the highest on this list but it’s a good place to gain experience especially if you have zero teaching experience.
You just need to be passionate, friendly has aa very reliable internet and can teach at least 10 hours a week. And they have ready lessons that teachers can use.
Cambly-
Cambly has been one of the schools I would often mention because It’s still going strong for many years. The company accepts applicants without a degree and experience, as long as their native English speakers, you can teach anywhere you are in the world.
Pay is sent weekly through PayPal. The pay may not be the highest on this list but one of the good online teaching jobs opportunity you can try.
Italki
Has been one of the most popular language schools for many years. Just like other schools I mentioned on this list. Italki would let you create an account and teach using their site.
You can choose which profile you are most applicable. Professional teaching profile or Community tutor profile. Whatever language you are planning to teach. You must be a native on that particular language or C2 (Advanced) in order to get your account approved
Ginseng English
Although this company requires applicants to have a degree and experience. If you think that you could be a great teacher that is more than passionate. Then they will surely give you a chance.
Their site states that ” Ginseng believes in fair hiring practices and the value of a diverse staff. ” “We want the best teachers out there, regardless of gender, race, religion, orientation, and native language. ”
The company also mentions that their pay is double compare to other companies. Two main reasons why they should be on your list to try.
